 Justin Nicholls aka MONC creates unique music and songs. He has scored multiple award-winning television series and songs from his five studio albums have featured in US TV series and movies. Notable credits include three BAFTA-Winning series: The National Trust(BBC2), The Force(BBC2) and One Born Every Minute(Channel 4). Russian Godfathers(BBC2) won the prestigious Grierson award and Numberjacks, a children’s animation series, became a worldwide hit (it recently achieved five hundred million streams on You Tube) and won the Royal Television Society award two years running . 

 He is a digital-age indie-pioneer launching himself as an independent artist and label online in 1998. This sparked international press attention and MONC’s first two EP’s made top ten in the US CMJ (College Music Journal) charts. His songs have featured in dozens of US TV series and movies such as Christopher Nolan’s Memento.

 Justin writes, arranges, records and produces all of his own work and is a multi-instrumentalist. He utilises many unique instruments from across the globe and has designed several of his own. He gets great joy from finding talented, passionate, like-minded musicians to perform with live and record with in the studio.
